Doosha. Nuwah. My name is LeeAnn Brady and I am an enrolled member of the Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation in New Town, North Dakota. I am baptized into the Catholic and Congregational Churches. I have been a member of the Native American Church all of my life, and I am very thankful for all beautiful ways of worship. I am thankful for all of the guidance that I have received from my parents, and my grandmas and grandpas before me. They have truly laid a foundation for which I try to live my life by, and I am thankful that they have prayed for my children and myself even before we were here on this earth. I have found that all churches have prayer and song in one way or another. It is my hope and intention that this recording will inspire listeners to live a prayerful life of hope, faith, love and to bring good feelings of joy and happiness. I have listened to many recordings and songs in my lifetime. Many have influenced me and I can only hope that I can inspire and unite all listeners in a good spirit as other recordings and songs have inspired me. Even though this recording has my name on it, it is meant to be in the most humblest manner. If this recording stands for anything, I want it to be for all of our Native American Church brothers and sisters, young and old alike, to keep the faith and our way of life, and also to support, encourage, help and pray for one another as we try to sustain our way of worship and our teachings to our children.
